Before we get fully into the Holiday season, we wanted to take the opportunity to note that your
membership in the Benton MacKaye Trail Association runs with the calendar year, and according
to our records, will expire at the end of December. Knowing how busy everyone gets then,
may we suggest that you take a few minutes now and renew your membership? Simply to the
website, www.bmta.org, and click on the Membership Info Link or go there directly by clicking
HERE. You can use a credit or debit card to renew, or print out the form on that page and send
a check to the Cherrylog Georgia address. Either way, you will be renewed for another year,
and we really appreciate your support.

Often, folks like to make a small (or even not so small) donation to the Association at the same
time. Due to the limitations of the Paypal system, we have added a "Donate" Button on the lower
left hand side of the main web page, as direct donations are treated differently than membership
payments. If paying by check, the amounts can be combined.

At the same time, take a few minutes to look at the BMTA Online Store. The new Smokies Guide
is out, as well as the fantastic wall map, and clothing. You might find a gift or two and benefit the
Association at the same time!

We really appreciate your support of our efforts and hope you can join us on various activities this
coming year. By participating, you are truly "leaving a footpath for generations to follow!"
