The tools originally located at the tool shed (BMTA World Headquarters) at the Sisson Pavilion
have all been moved to the new Benton MacKaye Trail headquarters on Highway 515 just across
the line into Fannin County. The building is located at the Sisson Sales Center and is just next to
the little covered bridge that goes to the highway. Tools are located in the half of the building to
the right. Instead of a keyed padlock, the door is secured by a combination lock, The combination
is 1980, the year the BMTA was founded. Tom Mitchell, who takes care of the tools has done
most of the most and organized the tool room. I think you all will be pleased with what he has
done. It is a great improvement over the old shed,
