Fellow Maintainers,



Spring has started and we are starting to have some nice weather. Now is the time to check out your
section(s) for fallen trees and branches and any other things that need to be done in order to have our
trail ready for increased hiking activity, just around the corner. I have already been receiving reports
from some maintainers and, so far, our trail appears to be in pretty good shape. Please use the BMTA
Maintainers Report from our web site and either email or mail it to me. This report is working out well
and makes it easy to enter information into my database to keep track of the conditions and work
done on each trail section. Please let me know of conditions that you cannot handle with your regular
maintenance. My address is 155 Crestview Lane, Cherry Log, GA 30522.


Also, the Walk-Thru is coming up. We will be deciding at the Board meeting when it should be this year,
maybe as early as April. Remember, you cannot do your own section on the Walk-Thru, so be thinking
about which section you would like to do. First come first choice, so let me know which section you
would like and I will get you on the list.
