Next Saturday’s Georgia Work Trip Includes Lunch

Join us for the Georgia regular monthly maintenance trip on Saturday, February 12. We will be working in
Section 7, near Highway 515/US 76. So far, the extended weather forecast looks good for next Saturday.

Met for breakfast at L&A Corner General Store across from the Pink Pig at 8:30 am or 9:15 at the new
Cherry Log Christian Church parking lot, if skipping breakfast.

The church is just down the street from the Pink Pig on the left if going toward Blue Ridge.

We will be picking up construction trash that some inconsiderate person dumped on the trail east of
Highway 515, and do some sidehilling west of 515. Also we will need a chainsaw certified person to
clear some fallen trees in the Sisson development. Last month, it was really nice to see some of our
new members participate in the work trip. I hope to see some more new folks this time, especially some
of our Gilmer/Fannin County members. Since the sites are near the highway, we should finish early
Saturday afternoon. Incidentally, Section 7a is available for a maintainer.

As a reward for participating in the inglorious job of trash pickup, everyone is invited afterwards to soup
and chili at my house in Cherry Log. For more information and to let me know how many folks to expect
