The directions to the location of The Annual Meeting were unclear to some persons. The following is
a revision which is more detailed.


BMTA's 30th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Meeting


Location - The 2010 Annual Meeting of the Benton MacKaye Trail Association will be held on Saturday,
November 6, 2010 at the former (not the current) location of the Cherry Log Christian Church in Cherry
Log, Georgia. All hikes will also meet in the church parking lot. The meeting location is off Highway 515
(US76), just beyond Mile Marker 21 in Cherry Log and is past the location where the Benton MacKaye
Trail crosses that highway when driving south from Blue Ridge. Turn right (west) on Fred Craddock
Drive which has a “Church for Sale” sign at the entrance. Coming from the south, you must make a
U turn on the highway and head south a short distance, just past the left turn on to Jo Ann Sisson
Road. The church cannot be seen from the highway. Just drive up the hill until you get to the church.
Signs will be posted on the highway for the event. Cherry Log, Georgia, is between Blue Ridge and
Ellijay, Georgia, about 90 minutes from Atlanta.
