The GA March 13 (Saturday) work trip is still on. I've checked three top-notch weather sources
who all say the chance of rain in this part of the mountains is limited to possible showers in the
p.m. mainly, about 50% chance. So we still plan to meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Village Restaurant in
Blue Ridge for breakfast or at the Skeenah Creek trailhead on GA Hwy. 60 at 9:00 a.m. Because
the roads are bad into the original work site south of the Toccoa suspension bridge, we are
instead working right there at the Skeenah Creek trailhead on the uphill northward a few hundred
yards away replacing waterbars and reworking the site. All this is within a few quick minutes
hustle to our parked vehicles if it rains.
