BMTA-GA members - Section 2 is now claimed for the walk-through. So all sections are now
covered. Thanks to all.

But that doesn't mean you cannot join us at 9am at the Village Restaurant, enjoy a little fellowship,
and maybe help with a shuttle or even hike a section with someone.

Or hike on your own and appear at the Pink Pig between 4 and 6 pm. (Darcy's buying the
cobbler!)

Just one Georgia section remains unclaimed for the walk-through Saturday on National Trails
Day. But it's a beauty: Section Two, from Three Forks to the Toccoa River Bridge. 8.4 miles with
plenty of hills. A good workout. And it passes by the beautiful Long Creek Falls.

Here’s the schedule for the day.

1. We breakfast and visit at the Village Restaurant in Blue Ridge beginning about 9:00 AM (note the
relaxed hour!) then...
2. walk our sections jotting down notes per the supplied form, then...
3. repair to the Pink Pig about 4 pm for report write-up, more fellowship and some blackberry
cobbler (Darcy's buying).

put you to work.


We could also use need people to help with shuttles - you show for breakfast at the Village, enjoy
the fellowship, and drive walkers to a trail-head.
