GA BMT folks,


The current weather forcast shows a 70% chance of thunderstorm activity on Saturday on the high
ridge between Sandy Gap and Six Mile Gap, where we hoped to join the TN and NC folks this
weekend for an assault on brush and blowdowns. It is possible, of course that the weather will
clear in time to work on Saturday. But I don't want ask people to drive 3 hours from Atlanta on
a 30%, or less, chance. And I don't intend to make that drive myself.

So... I am hereby cancelling the GA carpool arrangements described on the website for this
weekend.

Whether or not to call off the TN-NC trip altogether is, of course, not my call. Sunday work is
still a possibility from the looks of the weather report. Email Rick Harris, TN-NC Maintenance
Director, or stay tuned for his notice if you still have thoughts of going out.
