Dear BMTAers,

The holidays...WOW! It's fast-paced! By the middle of the month you will surely need a
break from rushing to job or other activities, shopping, etc. So why not come on out on
the THIRD Saturday of the month, December 15, to help us finish up the third relocation
in the Wallalah-Licklog new route. Come breathe in some pleasant mountain air under
a sunny very late autumn sky.

This relocation starting up Licklog is beautiful and needs just a bit more work to finish
and open it. We'll be working right beside the "big tree" - one of the largest yellow
poplars found on the Chattahoochee National Forest. Hopefully we will be able to put
on the blazes by afternoon, completing this section.

We meet as usual at either the Village Restaurant in Blue Ridge for breakfast at 8:00 a.m.,
or 9:00 at the Little Skeenah Creek trailhead on Hwy. 60. (From there we will go up in the
four-wheel drives to the closer, higher location to the trail.) Afterwards, any so inclined
may go "Pink Pigging."
